Membership in the pillar II

Insured persons who are insured under the compulsory pension insurance system on the basis of generational solidarity (pillar I) according to the Pension Insurance Act and who are under 40 years of age are subject to compulsory insurance on the basis of individual capitalized savings (pillar II) in a pension fund of a certain category.

Procedure for exercising the right to old-age/anticipated old-age pension

In the process of exercising their rights to old-age or anticipated old-age pension, all insured persons who are insured in both pension pillars are allowed to choose whether they want to receive a pension from the pillar I only or a pension from the pillars I and II by submitting a personal statement to REGOS.

Payment of inheritance from personal account

Total capitalized funds from the personal account represent the personal property of an OMF member. If an OMF member dies before exercising the right to a pension, and family members do not have the right to a family pension according to the Pension Insurance Act, total capitalized funds in the account of the deceased OMF member shall be a subject of inheritance according to the Inheritance Act.
